GMS January Patch information Magatia PQ!

I thought Nexon promised us CWK expansion in January.
Oh well, can't complain anyway and Magatia PQ sounds awesome .

Yay for the return of Lunar New Year events. Oh and now i can level a bunch of my characters to 85 too.

Maybe this patch will be enough for me to get to 70...

Aside from dealing with merchants at the 7th Day Market, you can begin a quest to help the lazy daughter of the poultry farm owner hatch her egg until it grows to be a chicken. More details coming soon...

Atleast the ducky is hopefully going to be cute. Other then that, yay for Magatia being almost complete.

They didn't. The magazine article had Nexon promise it in 1st Quarter of 2009.

They promised first quarter of 2009...which gives them a 4 months gap. lol

Assuming Nexon knows that a quarter is a time frame, and not a monetary unit.
I'd say it's a 50/50 chance.

Also, anyone else think this patch sucks so they can have it on the 20th and have 65 earlier in the month to get back on schedule? :/

I find it quite delish.

Chances are it won't be on the 20th. Inauguration day; doubt they'd be working. Maybe they'll do a small patch on the first week of February or something, then CWK towards the end.

Meh.. I'll be level 85 by the time I even get to Magatia PQ.

Not surprised. Well, actually a little because I expected it to be less crappy. have fun if you're between 70 and 85! the rest of us will just keep doing what we were doing. >_> Guess I'll stick to windbreaker for a while longer.

The 7 day market thing was in TMS and CMS, basically there are NPCs that will be selling items for cheap, and then you can try to make a profit by selling it back on certain days. It's really stupid, and it was especially hard to understand from bad translations, so that's all I have on it. Seems stupid though.

What items are sold by the NPC's? Regular drops that you can wear or special untradeable items that clutter your inventories? lol

Yeah this patch does seem a little lacking for the first one of the year. No "Bang" there.

Yay for magatia pq! I stopped leveling my outlaw to wait for this so I can do it a lot if its a fun pq.

They've only done a good patch on the same month as a holiday (sans Summer) once in my relatively short time on MS (a little more than a year), and it was Magatia. From what I heard, none had happened at least shortly before. (I guess you could count the Haunted Mansion and V/H, but it's not exactly earth-shattering.)

How soon is "soon"? Patch this week? Next week? I dunno whether to play my Hermit, I want the Magatia PQ necklace.

anyone know what the stats are on the necklace (assuming other versions have it before us) ?

At least i can PQ my brawler to past 70 now... I mean i was gonna train, but hey, if the pq is fun, then why not? This is wy i have characters in all level ranges...

Sounds like a pretty interesting patch. Weird how people always only complain.

How many times do you have to win the PQ in order to get the necklace?
(Level 83, wondering whether I have enough time, even if I don't train at all between now and patch).
