thats a speed run, they specially recruit the highest lvls and strongest to take it down the fastest. i highly doubt all normal runs are only 26min long.

Hope we don't get this crap. Even though it would help with hackers. We don't have a problem with our Horntails being hacked though. Or not that I'm aware of.

lol hackers are taking down HT every hour in Bera, all day every day.

Even though it is a major pain in the ass, i'm sure the people unable to go are enjoying the skillbook/dragon weapon deflation.

How plentiful are maplesea's onyx apples? I've heard maplesea's apq gives less of them. In gMS, onyx apples are plentiful and are used in every horntail run to speed things up, which explains the sub-hour times.

zomg, they didn't break NLs. What ever will we do!?

just a guess, but every time you enter a map it should send some signal to the server to telling it that "player id xxxxxx is in map x/y" so all it takes is a simple data inquiry of the specific map to know how many people are within a single map. The time part is simpler since it has the timer in place already, basically it has the drop yes/no set to no until 1 hour has passed.

that is unless they use another way for it, but those seem to be the easiest ways to me D:

well it possibly could be a similar thing as apq, where in apq, if all 6 people are standing on a certain platform, then it reads it as such and allows you to proceed. so they probably used a similar concept.

me and my friend timed the killing of HT's in Mardia, there were 2 in an hour (1 hour 9 minutes) at 5 in the morning. -_-

I guess that means runs that screwup like this one won't be able to finish properly? lol

Then again SEA has more lvl 200 players, do they still use apples for bosses or do they just use Echo of Hero?

Oddly enough, though MSEA has the lvl 200 mount and lvl 200 NPCs, Echo of Hero isnt released yet.

I guess that means runs that screwup like this one won't be able to finish properly? lol

Oddly enough, though MSEA has the lvl 200 mount and lvl 200 NPCs, Echo of Hero isnt released yet.

I suppose darkvadr is wrong on his info, since Purification is using Echo of Hero successfully in his lvl200 video he uploaded 5 hours ago.

1) Horned Tail has to be defeated by more than 10 surviving players.

There's only 6 people left standing in that screenshot.
