Nependeath's honey is far too rare even if botted on every single map/channel to ever go that low. They were hacked for months on end for a while a year and a half back, never went lower than 7,5m.

Hackers aren't as retarded as you think they are. Once they realize (if they haven't already) they control the economy, obviously they won't be selling ilbi for 30k each considering -- guess what -- they need the money themselves.

This always happens. Hackers come, deflate the FM, and then they get banned and are gone, and the prices inflate rapidly again. This will keep continuing till Nexon finds a way to get rid of hackers forever. Nothing new here.

The deflated economy is a double edged sword. Kasuhitomi put it in simple terms. You can buy cheap claw scrolls, but tryna make more money to keep buying them is hard. You get more now for the same amount of money, but you also get less for the stuff you need to make money off of.

The major power during these times go to the bishops and archmages who sell leech (as well as those who sell BF leech). They can easily make money this way and probably aren't going to drop their prices just because ilbis or something else is deflating. So those classes can still make the same amount of money AND its easier to buy stuff = win?

I fail to see how ilbis and mass deflation have anything to do with 4th Job Mages selling leech. It won't effect it in anyway, unless people live off money from ilbis. Which would only be the hackers?

Just in case you dont believe LordKatz' image, here's another one! I think you're mixing up vikings with ilbis and gryphons with steelies. You must not've been around back in the day before Wolf Spiders came out, right? Cause back then, Vikings were the BEST source of ilbis as the other options were lycans and mushmom (lol).

As for the whole economy thing, people would have to realize it's all RELATIVE. As items deflate, the value of other items also deflate and the value of your pure, hard mesos inflate. The market will always be changing and you can either sit here and complain or figure a way to take advantage of it to continue surviving. Even without hackers, the market will move up and down (though not to such drastic proportions) so... yeah. Just learn to adapt and move on.

On another note, I ran into a hacker that looted my 60% Cape Dex at Elija today and asked for it back. After talking with him for a bit, he gave it back and we had a small conversation. Apparently, he was hacking cause his GF deleted his 80 priest so he was hacking up to 14x so he'd be able to train with this other girl, the only reason he was playing maple...Go figure >_>

60% glove attack scrolls are selling for 10m, the same price as ilbis here.

I don't really mind the hackings, because if anything, they're only benefiting my wallet. It's not nice to glance at guild chat and see people infuriated over hacked Skelegon/Hime/WS/Kent maps. However, these hackings are contributing to everything that I invested to resell in the future; whether it be skillbooks and stars, or ores and crystals for Item Maker. I can't really complain about them now, since they're actually (For once) helping my wallet.

Yeah, of course. However, deflation has f(ucked me up the ass far too many times, and I've come to know how to prepare myself for situations such as the the hacker bannings that will probably happen within the next month or so. Others who can't afford a deflation and aren't prepared will probably rage, which sucks quite massively.

Might want to consider playing another MS as global MS has been ruined since quite a while. (Europe MS, for example.)

If you use up 1m meso worth of potions (which have a fixed price) per hour of training, you need to make 1m meso per hour off the drops you get, to break even. Or 10m meso for that one-in-ten-hours drop.

Or look at equips. Just your normal clean 50+ armors and weapons. You can't buy them from NPC's, but their price can't go lower than what an NPC would pay for them. So the FM price has a lower limit. If deflation gets to the point where a level X character can't make enough meso (by selling drops from level ~X monsters, and after potions) to buy level X gear, the game has a problem.

That is the real problem, right on the head. Particularly for those of us who cannot/choose not to purchase Gachapon to make mesos, or for people like myself, who can't buy NX cards locally, and thus have no access to meso bags.


And Yellonde isn't the only economy messed up like that. 60% Glove for ATT goes for around 10m in Demethos, too. This morning I saw a 60% Overall for INT at 30m.

And people wonder why I don't scroll my stuff. I've NEVER gotten a scroll to pass that wasn't 100% >_> Sure, the prices are coming down somewhat thanks to hackers, but some prices never really will. Items like ilbis, sure because once you have an ilbi, you can use it, recharge it, sell it. It still exists. It's things like quest items (particularly for those high EXP and/or good reward quests, like oh... 10m 60% glove for ATT scrolls, lol) scrolls, and/or things you use up that really won't go down because the demand will still be there.

8m per hour is only $1.20 from a meso selling site. Do you really think hackers are introducing pure items and no mesos? Of course not. They're flooding the market with hacked mesos too, it just takes longer because they want to make a bit of profit on them by selling it to leechers.

Every time I see the blue text on Mardia, I get happy. I'm glad that hackers are running HT now because, for once, they do not try to monopolize it. I've never understood why people get mad when things get cheaper... scrolling godly items, isn't that what everyone wants?
