Kids WB remebrance thread

This page is for KidsWB and the simpler times that it represented. Back in a time when one had to choose between watching Pokémon, Digimon or Monster rancher. When Lou bega would sing his song that is now played during the Party city commercials. There were many shows on the network but the 3 that I am going to remember the most will still be Pokémon, Mew mew power and Card captors. (can you imagine a world without card captors? What a horrible place)

If anyone knows where the king or queen of tv lives, then I say that we form an angry mob and demand that KidsWB be brought back to life!

Forget the animu. Animaniacs and Freakazoid.

The time I spent on the states as a child we didn't have kids WB, so no pokemon. T-T
I'll remember that till the day I die(the pain of watching the ads on some other channel was the salt on the wound).

I stayed up watching Teen Titans, Xiaolin Showdown, and everything just to watch Yu-Gi-Oh.

It was good.

It was times like this that really brought all the kids in my neighborhood together and we would always play Yugioh alongside the show while it went on.
...Those were some dark times.

the funniest part of the video is the fact that like at least 80% of those things never went away after the 90s and still exist in readily-available/unchanged form

That is correct. Digimon was picked up by Fox Kids and Jetix/Toon Disney for all seasons up till Data Squad...but then again, I really do remember them playing Adventures 01 for like the briefest time, as some filler to a show that ended or on hiatus.

The only positives about Cardcaptors was that it introduced me to CLAMP's works and led me to eventually re-read and re-watch the entirety of Cardcaptor Sakura, which I loved so much.

..also the opening theme was pretty badass I guess.

Yes please all of this. Animaniacs really helped me when it came to remembering 50 states of the US.

This is perhaps true next to its source material but I would still rather get a bastardized version then no version.

I still think that it was unfair how the network was cheated out of business but they had a good run.
