Nope, it's exactly the same as CMST. (Except for there's no more leveling system and all equips have the stats that they would've had at max level)

Not super quick, it seems. You might as well just walk there yourself, unless you need to afk for a few minutes.

There's absolutely no new information on upgrading that we didn't know before, the translators did a really good job on that, and I have to thank them again for it.

- All the 160 equips are white listed as things you can upgrade to (including the accessories, they have yet to actually add the ring, btw, it's just a clone of the Superior Gollux Ring for now)

- There's the 140/150 to 160 anvil thing, but I think it's just handled through the NPC

- Once you use a 140/150 equip to upgrade a 160 equip, it gets destroyed. The Succession UI only mentions potential stats, with only rank transferring and the potential being reset.

We'll just have to wait and see.

"Town lag" isn't server lag, it's client lag.
Your client is going over those NPC's scripts trying to decide which animation to show, over and over.
A room with all of them is just as laggy as a whole town (the room in Aquarium which had them is both example and proof: that small room is laggy, the big town outside is not).

Funny anecdote here. Last night I had to model an approximation of a thrust limit on a elevation/airspeed flight envelope, but the equation I used had airspeed as the dependent variable, and the function used a drag parameter dependent on Mach number, so I needed to use an iterative numerical method. The drag parameters had already been determined for several Mach numbers; I just had to converge onto the airspeed we'd be at.
Now, I'll admit, I've been pretty lazy in regards to programming, so I've been a bit rusty. So I went to plan out my program. For the drag parameters I took the currently iterated airspeed and passed it to another function, which would convert it to the Mach number and then perform several "if" comparisons in order to select the correct drag value for the Mach number. It took me all the way until I was typing out that function and then copy-pasting several times to realize that making 150 value comparisons was fucking insane and ridiculous, and so I used an array trick instead.

So yeah, for a while I went full Nexon.

Who else wouldn't be surprised if that auto pilot triggers the magnificent autoban system of gMS?

Is there any NPC text with the Maple Administrator that indicates that we can trade in Mastery Books for their new counterparts.

Also, I pretty much got my answer from the KMS extractions, but can you confirm that the new Mastery Books are untradable? This would make them coming from Gacha a bit...meh.

Sorry, all the scripts for things like that are server sided, I'm pretty sure.

There are 3 different versions of the new Mastery Books, all of them are untradeable except for 1. This is identical to the data in kMS, so whatever tradeability it has in a certain situation in kMS, it should be the same in here.
