I'm just tired. Just tired of life. It seems like I'm dealing with degenerates all the time now. Holding their hand like its my job. Tolerating them on forum boards. Dad says I'm a sicko. He's right. I'm sick, I'm bored, this isn't fun. It's just a time burner so I don't feel alone because I don't have a support network in real life. And I don't have a social network, because I hate people. And as far as I know, the internet is the closest I can get to being with other people without coming to detest them. I would be open to having a conversation with MetaSeraphim, not because I actually have an interest in knowing about her or her opinions. But because I'm always lonely and until I find a way to cope with that reality, I'm always going to be on some forum board on the internet looking for a conversation on anything.

I disagree with this. We can reverberate the "every fandom has its share of odd people" idea here: if you go to the larger message boards (Sonic Stadium), things are fine. Its only when you dive into the smaller communities (Invisionfree-based boards, etc) and possibly deviantArt that things start to get a bit strange (but dA in general can be like that). I really have yet to see anything come out of the Sonic fandom that I can't match any other fandom on in terms of weirdness. There are some questionable things (fans of particular characters that take things to the extremes), but this isn't exclusive to Sonic by any means.

Maybe its because of the family-friendly nature of the series? Thats a big stretch, I know, but hey. I'd wager most of the pictures in the page I linked to came from the two sources I mentioned earlier (dA and small Invisionfree forums).
