This SS was at about 5:30 AM PST/8:30 AM EST... no HT groups run that early.. and a friend of mine on BL said there was a notice 3 hours before that one too.

Mardia's HT is getting raped every few hours by hackers. It's out of control. Legits buying HT pends off the hackers too. lol

At least some of those are being done by the guild Piano.

Bera is the same...GM's are doing nothing, as usual.

I don't know about scania, but considering that HT is being held all the time, the hackers probably can't even get in.

lol you could say that but HT isn't like Zak where you can get like 6 people together and just go with 1 party. It takes more planning and percision and rarely have I seen R> HT NOW! There is a quest you have to complete before you can even go in the cave.

Yeah and in the smaller worlds like Mardia where we still only have 13 channels and two or three organized groups that can take down horntail seeing his death notice every three hours or even every day is pretty much a red flag that something isn't quite right.

I don't see how this affects pendant prices. The only way it would is if everyone bought from hacker guilds, or if everyone buying from hacker guilds lower the demand for pendants a significant amount. o.o

im thinking it will lower the demand. Look at the amount of times that the hacker runs are going in a day, lets say you have 1 buyer each run, thats a hellova lot of pendants. And with our prices some 300 mil OVER what SEA's are (bello at least) even tho we have onyx apples stocked high, something needs to bring the price down a bit to make it somewhat more reasonable. Hell, most of the weapons dropped alone bring in a good amount to the overall profit of the runs.

That's assuming the hackers are even taking buyers and not just doing it for the loots that they can they release in a trickle to keep the prices maxed, because if they take pendant and egg buyers that means witnesses. Not that they're very bright or subtle, but would you pay a group mesos to do something to/with your character that could result in all your hard work being banned permanently?

Exactly. Besides, saying the GMs aren't doing anything is pretty stupid in my eyes. Even if they AFK for half an hour or so, there's no way they can miss a few blue notices in their chat box.

This has been going on for quite a while now in Bera. It's gotten to the point where legits can't even kill Horntail because hackers are always killing.

This is Nexon though, remember? They have the time to shut down Fiel's GMS extractions, but they can't even summon something crazy during the Day of Darkness, let alone take the time to leave town to ban someone in HT.

Those are two different groups of people, but still, nexon as a whole seems to think that if you take a while to fix it so it doesn't happen later on and not really addressing the hackers now(Even though it will) it's better than dealing with the perps now and taking longer to fix it for good.

The main problem is that pendant prices are too high, especially in the smaller servers where one or two small groups of legits control the supply. Not everyone is patient enough to wait for a legit run, only to pay a few hundred mils more. (Some will risk the illegit runs.)

I never hear of illegit Zakum runs anymore. (Only Zak run scammers who don't helm at all.)

I'm not 100% sure on scania but I've heard that scania's HT has been held by guild [not name dropping to reduce drama] a lot. Haven't seen any HT notices for awhile in scania. Yeah, the hackers can't even get in yet. :/

Reminds me of when people in Broa couldn't do Zakum runs because of hackdicks in the alter 24/7. They managed to collide with one of the Mardia groups even, I can only imagine the situation on more populated servers.

I mean really. Would it be that difficult to warp to horntail after the "heroes" save leafre and /ban the entire map?
