[BLOG] Seasons Greetings... of Doom!!

Twas the nights of Maplemas, Versalmas, and more
And all the Maplers F2'd and adored
For there were plenty of treasures, drops, and strange mobs
There were events, new locations, and even new jobs!

And what on my sharp GM eyes should appear?
Monster Bags, lots of them, and how'd they get here?
"These bags," I did cry, "will make Maplers die.
They'll spill right open, and monsters will fly."

"We must hide them at once!" Hime exclaimed
Crash pointed out zombie 'shrooms must be tamed

"But how shall we hide them?" Talia inquired
Tis when Nebel devised a plot, well inspired.
"We'll take them up high, and much above Orbis.
No one will find them, they'll never come for us."

"A great idea!" they did cry out!
"But who should we trust, to bring this about?"
They planned and they voted,
They discussed and they thought
Then suddenly "All of us will help with this plot."

Zawmbee, and Tibaroo,
Vector, Anstar, Tiara!

Nethe led the trek, high above view of snoops
But then from the GM crowd came an...

... "oops".

For everyone so excited to go
Forgot to fasten the Monster Bags! No!
They fell from the sky, with a deafening "whup"
And all of the Maplers, just then, did look up.

Balrogs and Mushrooms!
Slimes and great birds!
Boogeys and Pigs
in outfits absurd!

Now...

We need your strength Warriors!
And Bowman, aim swift!
Thieves, all be sneaky!
And Pirates, be quick!
Magicians as well
will need to cast magic
Or all of us fear
The results will be tragic.

The monters, they fell, and blotted the sun!
And each Mapler knew...
... The Day of Darkness had come

Lol, I actually enjoyed this poem

Lol nice blog, if only the day of darkness was really like this ominous thing they make it out to be.

We got 1 manon, 1 griffey, a few rogs, and some ZMMs, all downed in a matter of seconds, and most people couldnt even see what was being killed due to the massive lag.

This is creative.. too creative for Nexon... But anyways, I like the rhyming involved.

In the last few days Bera saw Tiara, Vector, Tibaroo, Zawmbee, Libra, Nethe and another that wasnt even mentioned IIRC.

I waited in Mu Lung for about 3 hours and no summons

lol at "Day" of Darkness...more like 2 minutes of Darkness from what I hear about it.

Yeah, it was a pretty lame event. They only summon stupid things that last a few seconds. Summon Pianus on both ends of town and have Tengus/Bigfoots running around, while Zakum reigns in the center. HECK YEAH! Give us something insanely crazy that would take a lot of time/players to clean up.

This evening, when several GMs were on in Bera, one GM actually said, "Less QQ more pew pew," after people had been complaining about hackers/scammers, etc...

They may not ban a lot of hackers...

but when they do, they have a sense of humor with it
