MapleStory's 1st Festival

On the 19th of May, Nexon will hold a special party in Korea at COEX.
Users are invited to join this party.

There will be events where invited users can participate in, an exhibition about the past ten years of MapleStory, the celebration of the 10th anniversary of MapleStory, special performances by SISTAR and Girl’s Day and information about the anticipated 2013 Summer Update will be revealed.

We all know Nexon loves to hype.. I have to wait and see if this ”historical” update really is a new start for MapleStory.

Let the speculation commence!

Looks 3D. I sincerely hope that's just the design for the promo... not some Maplestory 3D teaser... because I am pretty terrified at what Nexon can do.

Okay, a few facts:
It COULD possibly be Mihile/Mikhail, as in the class. That wouldn't fit though because:
He's missing his signature helmet
AND his Shield is missing.

Demon Avenger is also impossible, due the nature of the hair.
Damian has got a slightly peppy-spikey hairdo, and defiently not a flat one like this. The sword would also not match, as damian uses a rather ordinary, slightly wide one-hand sword.


Suggesting by the hands, he's defiently wearing gloves, OR he's got a machinal arm. The arm seems rather unusally formed, as the hand almost goes to the elbow of his arm.

Anyways, going by perspective, he seems to be looking at his emply hand. This could suggest that he's holding something small in his hand, OR that his hand/arm is unordinary.

The boots seem defiently warrior-ish, but also slightly pointy.

Xenon was bad enough. A thief-pirate hybrid that uses a sword? what the hell is that pomegranate. I don't even think they named it, they just called it "Xenon Weapon". but it's clearly a sword.

Hey now, Maple Story wasn't complete until it had something close to a Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot! Anyway I wonder if that's some kind of nod towards Heroes and that ever elusive dream of a full-scale Adventurer revamp seeing that none of the other Warrior classes fit and it'd be absurd for that to be Dawn Warrior since it's already out and the promo character was female anyway.

If they are wise enough... they'll announce another version of MapleStory.
Maybe MS2, or some other thing like that.

I looked at the silhouette and the first thing I saw was Mihile but who knows. I hope it isn't a new class, they've been doing pretty well lately by not releasing any.
