So patch is underway and likely to be extended for a few hours? Thanks Isaac, I've been expecting Magatia (or more precisely Alchemic skill) for some time, it seems like fun even though my treasured expectations aren't coming true. xD

It's probably because it’s more effort for fewer results. All most people want to do in Tespia is stuff like kill Zakum, rather than actual testing. Whereas those people will actually test since it is their job. Though I must say they don't do a great job.

Agreed. But Test Server was also useless: they never fixed the reported bugs. Probably it's the same with hired testers: they report bugs but NEXON doesn't fix them. Lol.

I have some questions. I saw in Insoya in gallery weird quest which give you ring with +1 stats. is it normal quest in Magatia or just kms event?

The ring was added only a few months ago, it's pretty new. As I recall it has to do with erasers. X_X

Erasers are way more common in KMS than they are here, so it's not that big of a deal. They also don't have stupid fake erasers floating around messing people up either.

As someone who is in product verification, albeit in a completely different field... I can attest to how true this is. I think the regate (push a problem back to be fixed in a later release) rate around here is somewhere around 40%. It's sickening. Of course, if a problem is severe enough there's no way it can be regated and it will hold up a release.

I assure you, private servers could fix 90% of the bugs that are in the game in a day or two (ex.: Capt. Latanica). Many bugs like that aren't really so hard to fix. But NEXON doesn't fix them. Incompetence? Problems?

According to the ad I posted earlier, they need only 3 Quality Assurance Testers...so they probably don't have very much right now...maybe 3? I doubt at max 10 of them could find all of the glitches in patch...

Anyways, we don't know how much glitches Nexon does fix before releasing the patch. It could be 1, 50, or even 100 glitches.

I now have another reason for my fingers to be crossed for tomorrow to be a snow day.
