Yay Jump Quest Big Grin
I've finished all the current JQs and I was sad that there were no more ;_;

Could the running/jumping stuff be in relation to the stage like in the Amoria PQ where everyone is running from monsters?

I mean this will be sorta like a jump quest too with all the ropes and junk xD

Maybe another hint at a pq? 0_o

It's like Final Fantasy where without the 2 mages and 2 warriors, they party would be screwed.

you LIKE how mages and pallys are screwed over? screw you

Erm- I don't think he meant it quite like that. If I'm correct, he was saying that each character has his effectiveness. It is like in Final Fantasy in the fact that if you have four characters dependent on physical damage, and then suddenly the monster your attacking absorbs physical damage, then your screwed.

Though, like someone mentioned earlier (so sorry, I forgot who said it Frown ), mages have basically share no benefits to the party they are in if they are fighting a boss - since Nexon loves to screw them over and make everything resistant. >.> I could be wrong about the effectiveness of mages in bosses, but I'm just going by what I read - I'm not a mage. =/

ANYWAY, on topic: Please god, no jump quests. They make me very angry. I have no patience for jump quests. Frown

let me tell you, were TERRIBLE at bosses, ESPECIALLY sice people won't let us summon OR ultimate. our 2 strongest skills, and we cant even use them? and then do and make everything elemental resistance -.-" i say make a boss only for mages/pally and can only be hurt by specific attacks like demon, charge(all four), ultimate, mage summons, and any other 3rd/4th job skill

:\ Depending on my mood, jump quests can be fun or not fun. Hopefully this jump quest will be more interesting. I'm not sure what I mean by more interesting...

Make a boss that only receives damage if it's hit by anything with an Element (Charges, Thunder Spear, Explosion, etc.).

It might be hard to implement, but it would be awesome. When the boss is in it's normal color, all attacks hurts; if it turns red, only ice hurts it (only Paladins and I/L ArchMages can hit it); if it turns blue, only fire; etc.

I want to see more bosses that you actually need to dodge or you'll die. Ones that makes you dodge a sequence of attacks, then opens it's eye so you can do as much damage as possible and then closes it and resumes on attacking.

"earthquake" style ranged attacks (such as Mushmom's jump or Yeti's ground-pound) are actually physical attacks, not magic.

Same difference. Frown

In the hints, didn't FaceStompers also increase the defensive capabilities of the user? If so, could said user be so powerful to manipulate these defenses? Maybe cast a weapon defense spell if it attains too much physical damage over a period of time, the same would go magic attacks.

If this was the case, then it would explain why all the close range classes had the most death tolls, as the ranged classes would've had time to react.

Since Nexon America is trying to reinvent the meaning of bossing, this would be a very viable solution in my eyes.

It was the exact opposite of that: he had so little defense that it was one of his downfalls.

Oh, well... scratch the FaceStomper parts then. xD However, I'm sticking to the boss theory I came up with.

Just wondering, have the NLC quests or iTCG hints depict a "weird thing in the forest"? Possibly a monster that the toymaker created that was powered by some evil thing?

Nope, no tales of a boss in the Forest from anything I have read (There are still a few items I haven't seen the descriptions on, stormcaster gloves among them.) The idea of a Toy boss is intriguing but I think if there were going to be one, it would have taken the place of HH.

You haven't seen the SCG description? <_< If I had known that I would've taken a SS when I made some ;-;
But I don't remember what it said at all <_<

Ah, I see... Speaking of HH, I've noticed that he's just there. There's really no story to why he's there, but he just is. Perhaps this new "thing" will be in relation to HH and provide some backstory?

Being able to revive something from the dead could be grounds of a very powerful entity.

I'm drawing this conclusion because both HH and this "thing" are placed in Phantom Forest.
