Protection scrolls confirmation

So, I am working on Enhancing a sweet weapon for my Blaze Wizard, in anticipation for revamp.

I got a few Protection Scrolls from the daily event we have now, and so far have got it to 7 stars, my highest star weapon ever!

So anyway, I was on my Dual Blade and stuck in a Protection Scroll using Legendary Spirit. Afterwards, I attempted to use the 2-star 80% Enhancement Scroll I had.

So yeah, it seems you can't use Protection Scrolls for these.

My question is, will the Protection Scroll I passed remain active forever, until I use the next AEE scroll I have? If I log off will the game still recognize the Protection Scroll? I'm asking since I see no icon or message that tells me there's a Protection Scroll active, and I don't wanna blow up my best weapon.

If you used a Protection Scroll on it there should be a cute little shield on the icon of the weapon when you hover over it, it will last forever on that weapon until you use something that can blow it up.


Also, I do believe you can't use the 2-star EE scrolls on something that has 2 or more stars if that is what you tried to do which will explain why it didn't work.

Just saying, I thought that you can't use the 2 star enhancement to a 7 star item unless I read that wrong. @_@

The shield icon will last until the next scroll with a chance to boom is used. It does not expire.

There's absolutely no shield icon, anywhere.
I can only see my empty Nebulite slot.

I would get so OCD and check my gloves like 3 times before scrolling them with 30%'s because of this.
