The key might be what Shadowers have that Paladins and Heroes completely lack. There's Speed, but more Night Lords (Flash Jump) got stomped than Shadowers. It might be Avoid, but what about Night Lords. More of them were defeated than ArchMages and Bowmasters.

Also, in which order were they sent out?

Odd how both warriors resulted in positive numbers? o_o

i like your thinking here, but this thing with job IDs is getting WAY too technical for the idea behind a riddle. Seeing as most players, practically all, have no idea what job IDs are, let alone how to find them without google.

I don't see the point of darkening the NPC when we've already seen him.

But ArchMages being less than Night Lords? Maybe because of Teleport. But the Bowmen's numbers are so close to Night Lords, what do they have that could help them avoid damage?

It makes some sense, probably need something to help you survive this thing. The ones that died the least have Magic Guard and Meso Guard. But the ones that died the most have a lot of HP.

It could be something that does high touch damage and moves somewhat fast. It could have a very high knockback number, because if Paladins are getting stomped the most, it means they're not knocking that thing back.

I still think it's the Facestomper dude zombified.

The newest hint is obviously a party quest or jump quest of some sort. I hope it's not that hard...

Maybe the Bishops and Dark Knights are stuck in this obstacle course, that's why none were sent to fight the thing in the forest. : P

I hope it's the hardest jump quest ever!

Well, too bad for them. : P

It's not that hard timing jumps and figuring out patterns.

I want a JQ that's challenging, but not impossible. One that will take you maybe 30 mins or an hour, not like 5 hours.

I've basically thought over this entire "boss" quote...thing all day long and i might have some idea onto what the numbers mean.

My idea is that these numbers basically indicate the level of toughness for each class. Not saying that DrKs are never going to die against this thing but basically that this boss is NOT going to be close range friendly. The numbers indicate whether or not close range classes will survive. Obviously since warriors have the highest death toll, the boss is going to have very strong close range attacks and maybe high touch damage. If you're asking "how can a warrior die by a magic attack and a ranged character can?" then the answer is in the quote in the first place. The boss is going to have a close range "stomp" attack that attacks all those in front of it, but not far enough where the ranged classes will be affected. This adds to the level of strategy as it might have some sort of warning where all the warriors will have to be like "OH SHI-" and run out of the way. Obviously shadowers will be fine despite their lower HP+MG because they're superior with avoiding an attack.

Elemental resistance might have some sort of solution to the whole "why DrKs and bishops are excluded from the statistics" business.
