NXPatcher - Create your own pre-patcher & list of Maple FTPs

I'm attempting to patch from 1.25 to 1.26 and repeatedly get stuck at "Creating: Map.wz" with it at 0%.
I recall having a similar (unresolved) problem the last time I tried to prepatch.

Any help?

EDIT: Redownloaded the patch and recreated the patcher. Now I get stuck with "Creating: Effect.wz" at 100%.

Am I just repeatedly getting corrupted patch files?

Just using Nexon manual patch...

I can't get the DL link to work (http://download2.nexon.net/Game/MapleSto...0126.patch) on my main Laptop. It worked fine on my other three. <_______<

I kept getting stuck at Map but realized I was running out of space on my hard drive for it to work, if you ran it multiple times, be sure to delete the temporary folders created. I am stuck at Morph now, plenty of disk space remaining. My internet isn't good enough to keep trying and redownloading the thing multiple times so I'm just grabbing the manual patcher from the Maplestory Support site while I sleep. Good luck with your problem.

I have 400 GB free on my drive... I used manual patcher and got stuck on Morph.wz. I dled the Morph.wz from http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=62540 and am now stuck at Sound.wz with the bar maxed.... sigh. Nexon is making it difficult tonight

EDIT: Restarted patching and it finally worked.

Apparently, those who pre-patched 125, got a slightly different Morph.wz. While it didn't interfere with gameplay, it's blocking patching now. So yeah, must fetch that non-pre-patched Morph.wz v125 before you can patch to 126.

I don't prepatch and I also got stuck at Morph.wz. While I'm downloading the non-prepatched one now just to check, I'm not sure that's all that it is.

I didn't even use the manual patch for Kaiser.


EDIT: Lovely. Replacing Morph.wz worked too.

someone please tell me what im doing wrong? i am patching from a clean v125



reinstalled a fresh v125, redownloaded the patch from patchwatch, created a patcher with nxpatcherlite16

Common problem. People are experiencing problems with morph.wz. Even I did.

The interesting thing is, I'm able to patch just fine on the VMWare install I have. I've just been patching there and then copying the files, but I'm rather curious about what could be causing the corruption.

There are plenty of things you can do to check the diagnosis:

1. Did you run "nxpatcher version base.wz"?
2. Copy the base.wz over from your VMWare and open both in a hex editor to look for anything wrong or missing. Or, if you don't have the tools, just upload and send to me.

Is there a typo on this line in the ini for NXPatcher Advanced 17? It wasn't running hijack for me until I changed the bracketed text to read:ifbackup.

Well look. One is version 128 and one is version 129. It's simple that the patch would not work on one of them.

Trying to download Maplestory for the 4th time.
The other 3 times, it got stuck at Map.wz and brought up: "An error occured during installation. Please try again." with the error code -40 installation failed.
What do I do to fix this if my 4th attempt doesn't work?

EDIT: Now it got stuck on Skill.wz.
Please help!
Gonna have to redownload again.... 5th time.
