[Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd

Only Bishops and F/P got shafted really badly (And Paladins, lol what’s new?). I/L is ok, a few are weak to ice and lightning, still not great though. When you are a Mage/Paladin you get used to being shafted by resistances. There seems to be a trend to make new things holy immune these days. Perhaps they are trying to 'balance' the game. Being immune to poison makes sense though since they are machines.

I am very pleased with this place. I was never really interested in it for items or places to train etc. The sprites and the bg music is amazing so I got what I wanted from it. Though gameplay wise it is broken. But this is Maplestory so what can you expect?

Yea. Shafted REALLLLLLLLLY badly. But hey, as you said, we get used to it I suppose.

That being said, unless they raise the damage cap in gMS, these mobs aren't really worth training on as Magicians can't train efficiently on them then, and most non-Magician classes that party with Magicians for gawdleh expay won't be getting anything efficient here either.

In short, Neo Tokyo looks like another reason to level a Drk, BM, Marskman, Night Lord, or Buccaneer.

Only have to buy it once and you can get in forever?

If so, screw that insanely hard quest!

For what i've read in this forum, this looks like an end-game area for JMS. Even when they get time temple (if they dont have it already, idk) this area is the hardest so far.

That android girl reminds me so much of Rey Ayanami and Yuki Nagato.

Depends how they have the quest set up. If you can buy an item to complete it, I'd do it that way. If it doesn't even appear in the quest log, I'd definitely buy the item. But if buying and doing the quest are two completely separate things, I'd have to do the quest.

Besides, when I first saw the list of items, I thought it was harder than it is. I was thinking the 300 item was from that Samurai boss. That's not it, is it? The 300 item is from a that tall ninja with purple flames or whatever. Correct me if I'm wrong.

All of the "lightsaber" weapons have item skills attached to them. There's a 90% chance at weapon's level 1 that you'll receive a skill. So far, the skill for all of the weapons is this:

"10% chance to slow enemy mob by 50 speed"

GG Marksmen, Hamstring is now useless.

Come on Fiel, you should know that Marksmen get blind not hamstring.

On topic, the 1H sword is close enough in attack to make up for the lunchbox that many of us never had the chance to get.

It also looks like some significant mesos sinks introduced here.

LOL I didn't really translate any of them. So for those of you who may be better than me, the way Katakana works is that it's supposed to sound like an english word (Hamburger in katakana is "Ha mu ba ga", get the jist?)
so if you can use the romanized version to maybe put together a word, do it.

ro-do in most games (when written in katakana) tends to translate as Lord for the most part. So the tank thing might translate to Afterlord.

Flying thing is O-ba-ro-do, can easily translate into Overlord.

Maverick is obvious.

Iruvata and Dida are most definitely just names.

Boss looking thing might be Belgamoto or something along the lines of that. The other stuff I'm too lazy to attempt to decipher your romanization, I've never seen someone type things like "roh doh" or ku ry sy ta ru" when translating kana. Where'd you find the original names, I'll translate it to the best of my knowledge.

Maybe they mean "Robo" like "Robot"

Google says Nibelung and Bergamot for the big robot bosses. Dunno if that's right but it sounds ok.

Nibelung is correct since its a used word in other myths and fantasies.
