If you test on mobs there's a difference between having a twin coupon and server 2x drop.

Well, I supposed so. Not much of a significant different now that I think of it... 2x drop = all mobs will drop mesos sack + their etc. Twin coupon = not all mobs will drop mesos sack + etc together, some might just drop mesos sack while some etc only.

That's the standard for most full retail. The auto industry and the furniture industry make their living this way. Auto Insurance does the same thing. All the claims of "Save $1000" is not savings compared to competitors, it's savings compared to the time when they themselves charged that much. Advertising is a brutal mind game.

Indeed. The major problem comes in when your customers get to see the prices at other servers but considering the amount of people having admitted to spending 100-400k + cash on additional potential (CHANCE OF BEING 2-LINED, YOU GUYS) I'd have to say our population isn't all that savvy. :/
