It's not mockery.
They're not responsible for Eos' status display. They bring servers up, they fool around, they find things not going right, they take them down again to fix, and bring back up to test again. That's perfectly normal. Hopefully they'll be done with it all on time.

Sure patching the live server with the tested content is still lot of delicate work... but does anyone else feel that Tespia has no reason to exist when they do extensions and Emergengy SCs?

Wow not extended atm? I'm surprised. Not trying to bash Nexon, but this may be the first big patch that I have been playing for that has not had an extended matinence. I'll be back in an hour and can't wait to see if the pomegranate hits the fan.
