• Party Play: Korean MapleStory chose to remove all Party Play bonuses other than Monster Park. We knew that many of you were disappointed by this news, so we listened to our community and retained the bonuses in Ascension.

When I read this, I think of "Hey, we listened to you assholes, now shut the pineapple up".

Why? If you're at least 143 you should be able to max Dark Impaler unless you spread your points wrong or something.

Dark Impale is a horrible skill that ruins the entire point of being a DK since the beginning of time.

Remember when I said that Ascension wasnt Jump!? As your dev team, it is our responsibility to not just take what comes out of Korea and drop it in Global MapleStory.

But wait, don't LHC mobs lose their "Boss" tag in Jump? I don't know if Ereve does as well.

Well they lost them because they're normal mobs with normal HP/exp so if GMS is keeping the party play zone, then I'd assume they'd leave the mobs untouched.

Yea, never had I seen a Dark Knight that had a "Dark" like skill, and I'm not counting Beholder either.

It's not even the fact that it is a "dark" like skill. It is the fact that it is basically the perfect blend of Crusher and Fury, something Dark Knights should have had over 4 years ago.

The fact that it took Nexon Korea so long to figure out this skill shows just how stupid KMS actually is.

Agreed. No one is going to visit Monster Park now, at least not the levels I need going in with me. I saw some solos in a few videos, does it follow the Expedition setup where you can go in solo as long as you have people in your party? I, too, was looking for personality items, specifically the rumored Level 30 Charm pot. Oh, and vindication for your contention that the release need not be in parts, cheers.

Those personality trait exp pots give like 5 or 10 exp each, I don't remember exactly (pretty sure it's 5), but Perfume, the charm one, is the rarest (of course). Still, this makes Monster Park a decent place to level your traits for the day, besides that, most people will probably go to Monster Park every once in a while to get at least 50 coins every few days to get the face accessory, because it is 5 atk/matk, and it does give personality trait exp.

I'm fine with GMS exclusive glitches and hacks. Keep it in the family.

Everyone will do Monster Park at least 1 time in the week. The only way I recall to get "badges" is from it...

And I find it to be more fun than LHC, so I will do monster park for a lot while I do lhc when I'm like at 90% or something.

Oh, and if you aren't a herbalist, this would be a good way to increase your empathy, as the monsters drop trait potions.

I'm really happy for this update. Legend will be in December, everyone can see that.

I'de rather go there on 2x then LHC. Just get enough tickets during the week. This way I won't have to deal with hackers, ksers, annoying spammers etc. My party and I can be at peace and not worry about losing our maps.
