AP Exam Scores 2010!!

I got a 5 on my APUSH test. I screamed, ran across my house, and broke both of my legs when I jumped on my bed. I think they hit the side, or something.

Congrats! My hands are dead from doing my APUSH summer work.

I got a 4 for US History. I'm shocked, really. I had a great teacher and got upper 90s the whole year as well as a 800 for the sat II. I also felt I did great during the test, so I have no idea what went wrong since I got a 5 last year for Euro despite atrocious essays.

I got a 4 for AP Euro. I'm raging like the friggin' Fist of the North Star right now. I scored in the upper 90s the whole year, and I was able to help explain or teach tons of obscure figures and events to most of my classmates as well as chronology and concepts. I felt pretty uncomfortable during the test, though; and in the end, I only had a first paragraph for my last essay- but I thought I'd at least be able to compensate with a rock solid multiple choice and two really good essays.

2010 (senior year):

Calculus AB: 5 -- especially content with this one as it was entirely self-studied (couldn't enter school's AP calc due to sh'itty grades in math classes beforehand namely due to maplestory, lolz)

And I even completely messed up the last FRQ question with the differential equation and initial condition. I put the antiderivative of 1/x^3 as something completely ridiculous involving natural log, lmao.

Macroeconomics -- 5

Previously:

US History -- 4

ps: people should note that the people who post their scores are generally going to be those who did well. I never see anyone post their incredible 1s on collegeconfidential (lol). So don't feel bad looking at others' good scores (I bring this up because people are getting mad at getting 4s--wt'f?).

I completely understand. I was ridiculously prepared for the AP gov. and politics test I took previously and still received a 4. I was scoring 90%+ on (real) retired practice AP tests yet only ~75% has been generally required for a 5 (and the frq of course).

Perhaps you read a point-dense FRQ question slightly incorrectly and answered in a completely irrelevant manner. It's just silly to get mad over!

I got a 690 on the SAT II, and a pretty lousy teacher (he was chill and all, but he didn't really teach) and scored low 90s the whole year.

Well, you can take it next year, huh?

5 on the music theory!

I've heard it's the hardest one, but it was my only exam this year so I couldn't judge. Next year I'm doing all IB and I'm not exactly sure what the tests are going to be like for that...
