I don't have the NX to re-buy all the skills, and I don't have the time to wait until protests make Nexon give them away or give more Maple Points. Can't collect leaves without a looting pet, not when I'm 10,000 miles away from Los Angeles and take over a second to manually loot a single item.
If they take away my pet equips and don't give me enough Maple Points to replace them with skills, that's the end of this anniversary for me.

I'll be fine with a full refund on permanent ones. I hope the 2k MP is a joke.

If they give anything less than the amount needed to repurchase/replace any of the (perma) equips that they remove, I think I'm done with giving Nexon any benefit of the doubt when they say they're trying to improve the quality of service and such.

Some sort of compensation is better than no compensation. You won't see me complaining. I was expecting them to just wipe them and do nothing about it.

OH dear you guys. Of course I don't know what the refund amount will be, sorry for misleading you. I'm just being pessimistic.

In KMS, Item Pickup is an EXTREMELY common default skill for pets. The only reason its in their shop is for the small handful of pets who don't come with it (mainly bargain bin pets). If we get the same system, your pets will probably know the skill already.

That's somewhat reassuring, although my favorite pet is quite old (Dino Girl).
Also, Item Pickup by itself sucks. I need at least the Wing Boots as well. (Currently have both Wing Boots and Binoculars, but managed quite well with just the boots until the perma Binoculars became available).

No wing boots by default, but Dino Girl DOES come with Item Pickup in KMS (it's really only the SUPER old pets that don't, like the original cat/dog/rabbit). If we get it that way, in a worst-case scenario you'll just need to walk it across the platform once in a while to get the leaves.
