A+++ transformation sequence. would watch again. I LOVE how similar it was to the one from the original anime, just way more awesome due to her giving her own quote like Sailor Moon does.

So, as someone that has not seen much or the orignal (saw a few episodes when it was on as a kid but didn't follow it) and has seen no magical girl shows besides Madoka and Fate/Illya, would this be a good show to pick up?

Definitely, but I would hold off on it for now. The episodes are coming out 2 weeks apart, and there are going to be 26 of them. If you started now you'd probably lose interest pretty quickly.

It's the full version of the OP and a rather spoiler filled video, but it confirms that like Sailor Mercury, the other soldiers have the same transformation sequence as the original anime.
