Animations of Pink Bean

Am I seriously the only person that thinks this is an awful boss idea? I don't know, for a stronger boss than HT I was at least expecting a bad ass final form or something. This is just over the top childish.

Probably to appeal to the young children who somehow manage to get a high levelled character.

Or it could be japans obsession with tiny (and often cute) monsters as near-impossible bosses

I guess looks aren't everything

It would be good for me if it transformed in the final stage of the battle into something badass but I don't think they are going to change it now, I think it doesn't fit the temple at all.

This gives me motivation to train even harder!

Have you seen the death animation? He opens up a black hole type thing and jumps into it, then glares out menacingly before it closes. Having seen that I'm willing to give it a little slack, but I'm among the "Give me something cooler than Horntail plox" crowd.

Yeah, I just saw it, I wonder what we will see next, but isn't he already a lot challenging?
EDIT: I mean if he now is very powerful and then he transforms into something MORE powerful don't you think it will too powerful to be killed?

I can tell that they spent a lot of time on it.
The skills are very odd, I'm not even sure how that's supposed to hurt you... xD

It acts all cute at first as it only buffs the statues with amusing animations early on. xD

....but it gets serious once you pwn said statues.

Meh. A little slack for a quick menacing glare? Nothx. I don't need a huge boss that doesn't fit on screen, but don't give me a pink...animal of sorts that pulls his fan out and cools off with a nice drink!

Give me a boss that will make me want to piss myself out of how scared I am to face him. This boss just makes me want to pull Pokemon out and CATCH EM' ALL!

On sleepy they have more other animations for the Bean, I wonder where those are from?

Well, I cut them slack for this because it at least gives him a connection to the rest of the theme. I mean, it's a portal to another place, perhaps it's the same place as Pap? This little fact alone ties it in to everything else enough for me to become interested in him.

that last animation where he's just looking evilly back out of the portal makes it look like he's either gonna 1) send out something bigger or another version of himself, or 2) do some super attack that kills everyone in the room even though they won (sarcasm, but it would be amusing). i'd love to see something happen like when you kill him a worm hole opens up and you have to chase him to his home and fight him again, either directly or after you go through a series of maps (like another world), quests, etc, to get to him.

that would make an ultimate boss feeling for this guy, and imo would be amazing from a story stand point, but would be hard to justify in an mmorpg which they have stated has no true ending. oh well, i can hope cant i?
