So I jut watched Seka-Seifuku Bouryaku no Zvezda, and I have to question why the lolis wear the most revealing costume, and why the professor can walk around public in only her underwear and a lab coat.

Hamatora The Animation 01~03: This is quite interesting. The animation when Nice uses his power is pretty slick. Did anyone else get creeped out when they smashed the guy's memorial stuff? Kid was way too happy.

Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. 01~02: I found this to be very enjoyable. Dialects are a fresh thing. Lazy god/goddesses is great. Uka-sama hnnnnnngggggggggggggggg dat dramatic cliff hanger ending

Log Horizon 17: Just give them the pineappleing quest already. It's like Dragon Ball Z, the RPG. Nothing much is happening, ever, yet I'm still glued to the screen.

Mahou Sensou 01~03: pomegranate this show is terrible. Worthless as pineapple protagonist with a smoking hot girlfriend who he's never done anything except hold hands (DID THEY EVEN DO THAT?) immediately strikes a boner with random girl, proceeds to waste 30 minutes saying DONT GOT NO TIME TO EXPLAIN WATS GOING ON JUST TRUST ME meanwhile random girl is walking talking encyclopedia the whole time. What a worthless papayagot. No wonder she chose him to pretend with. He's a papayagot. Everything about this show is pretty terrible.

Mikakunin de Shinkoukei 01~03: 幼女がキタ！This show is perfect.


Nagi no Asukara 15~16: JS Miuna was amazing but I guess JC Miuna has her charm too.

Tokyo Ravens 15: I'm so sick of Harutora's pomegranate. Is this even going to be about the students anymore when they're so useless?

Wake Up, Girls! 01~02: meh? It's no Love Live. I'm not sure if it's even a Natsuiro Kiseki.

Witch Craft Works 01~04: It's really hard to pick who's more useless between here and Mahou Sensou. It's pretty close. MC has shown no value so far. He's immediately attacked, goes hurr dur ur hare is burn stahp. Constantly attacked. Does nothing to try to stop it. Main girl is clearly invulnerable. GOTTA SHIELD HER AND MAKE HER DIE. pineapple.

Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil 01~02: I'm not too sure I like this show at all. The indiscriminate belief in a random stranger being cuffed at a crime scene. Character faces are pretty wide and around. Seems a bit off. I'm going to keep watching for the moment she pineapples up. Meanwhile, the other newbie completely ignored.

I believe the only thing on my list that I haven't started is Nobunagun. Anyone seen it? Any good?

I watched Mikakunin de Shinkoukei just because of those dancing loli gifs all over the place. Not bad, and seems to have made some progress in three episodes.

Niskeoi: I prefer Onodera because it was mutual and she does not beat the crap out of Raku. I seem to favor it when both characters are interested in each other at the beginning. (OFc then the male gets a harem, they both find it impossible to confess to each other, and nothing happens till the end.) Shaft is Shaft. The visuals are great, but I don't know if their style is the best fit.

Super Sonico the Animation: A great waste of time. At least there is not as much oversexualization like in all her other works, although I guess the photoshoots are fanservicey. Her voice/dialogue annoys me though. She is very formal and shy, and besides the few passonate words about her modeling/band it all thank you, take care of me, forgive me, formalities. I also find her uwa scream when she gets embarrassed really annoying. I guess they might reveal if it actually has a plot in the next few episodes.


Of topicish, but If anyone know the Idol group Claris, would you watch an anime about their daily life? Highschoolers that are part of a popular Idol group and have to keep their identity secret sound like an easy enough show to make, and it would be more interesting than some of the currently airing shows.

A show about their daily life sounds incredibly boring. Maybe I'll be able to take 4~5 min shorts.

Nisekoi - I'm more of a Chitoge fan, actually. I like how she's pretty upfront about stuff, and I just don't really like the school/class idol type all that much. Funny, coming from someone who crushed on the most popular girl in class nearly 10 years ago.

Slowly getting through some anime inbetween all the manga. Still not caught up on everything unfortunately.

Log Horizon 17 - This is still my favorite anime between both last season and this. Even when nothing is happening you can't help but sit there and just watch it because everything in it is just done so well.

Nisekoi 1-2 - I find I really like Shaft's touch on this series. It just seems... right. Onodera's still my favorite by far, especially with Kana Hanazawa doing her voice in the anime. I like Chitoge too, but I've never really been too fond of tsunderes. Especially ones that are so quick to hit the MC.

Strike the Blood 14 - Completely agree with JoeTang on Yuuma. Still prefer Himeragi, though. Got one more episode to catch up on with this one.

Tokyo Ravens 2-13 - Watching this anime makes me wish even more I was doing the manga. Have really enjoyed the series since I first read the manga, and the further the anime goes I just love it even more. Didn't really expect the whole bromance between Harutora and Souji. And really glad we're finally getting somewhere with the Hokuto thing. Still have 2 more episodes to go until I'm caught up.

Tonari no Seki-kun 1-3 - Nothing in this series ever gets old. I still wish they went with at least having 2 parts to the episodes, instead of these 7 minute shorts ;_;

Still downloading Chuunibyou 2, Maken-ki 2, Saikin Imouto, Seitokai Yakuindomo and Witchcraft Works episodes to watch, as I haven't started on those yet.

Nisekoi: Tis going along great in my opinon. I havent read the original source material(knowing this will drag on for long time) but the show is pretty good
Nobunaga The Fool: Words cant explain how ridiculous the plot is, a western world led by King Arthur whose subordinates are Julius Ceasar, Magellen, Da Vinci and other prominent figures, a female lead Joan of Arc whose alternate reality is Ranmaru Mori, a world where eastern technology is odd(they have giant mechas, but arent smart enough to invent glass to protect piulots from arrows...) the show is a lolworthy clusterpineapple
SYD*: The show is primarily sex puns, there really isnt anything important to comment about, just enjoyable
Space Dandy: I enjoy this show pretty differently than others, its hard to explain it in words.
Witchcraft Works: At this point, the back side of my head wants to categorize the show almost at gag level in terms of theme. Plot does not really move anywhere

Log Horizon: Level differences feel small, I find it odd that people around 30's can have the same amount of potential trouble fighting monsters when the others are ~90
Phi Brain S3: pomegranate got real, tied all previous seasons together with the introduction of the mighty one

Only watched the first two episodes of it so far, but enjoyable. MC swings in and out of entertaining murderlust and benefits from a newby VA with a pretty distinct sound. Generally has managed to set itself apart from the average action show, but I don't feel overly compelled to watch it as soon as it's available. Of the new stuff this season, Space Dandy and Noragami are comfortably ahead of Nobunagun but Nobunagun is comfortably ahead of everything else I've watched. And then there's Sekai Seifuku which is in its own glorious little guilty pleasure category.

I'm really excited for the war arc in Magi, that Fanalis Corps captain is one of the most overpowered pineappleers in the series so far

Normal Fanalis cannot use metal vessels correctly since they have little to no internal magoi, probably because they aren't humans as Mor found out in the most recent chapter; that captain though, he has enough magoi to djinn equip and even use an extreme magic due to the fact that he is half human; he's essentially a real one man army, almost to the extent Sinbad is. His fight with Aladdin should be the highlight of this season.

oh yeah, and sakutrick is still the best thing ever made.

Just watched all of Golden Time up to 16: One strange love triangle (square?). Lots of emotions. Koko is strange. The spirit Banri seems like a plantain, cursing his current self, and not caring until it almost kills him and all his friends. The dad seemed quite serious (that peach slap ep 15), but he was pretty caring in ep16. I wonder how much the anime follows the LN.

Yes, it did not seem like she was dead quite yet to me either. Satsuki said she was rebelling, but they way she said it made it sound like she had not yet defeated her mother. I don't get why should couldn't just chop her into little pieces though.

I don't get what it is with naked little boys. TTGL did the same thing for the hotsprings episode.

Nisekoi 5: Following the manga pretty much. Art was good, they really emphasized those swimsuits.

Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda 5: That was interesting. Guess I should have expected a tentacle monster eventually.

Kill La Kill Episode 17 The thing I find most jarring about episode 17 is the fact that the 2nd ED that plays right after feels completely out of place. You have the serious hitting the fan that happens at the end of episode 17... then... BOOM! Complete mood shift with that colorful happy-go-lucky ending song. I can't help but imagine it'll feel even more out of place in future episodes, with really hitting the fan now.

I guess I expected more coming from Hiroyuki Sawano, but very few tracks in the KLK OST stood out for me outside of Ragyo's theme and one or two others. Compared with Gurren Lagann even, I never skipped a single episode of the 1st or 2nd ED for that show. Those were too good.

Gundam Merchandising Episode 17 Heh. "Raman Khan and Patrick Mannequin" I'm amused at how many references they cram into this show. Another great battle here. Based on the matchups for the finals, it's kinda obvious that

Sei and Reiji will go up against Samurai Boy next, then Aila, then Quatro Bajeena Tatsuya for the finals. Samurai Boy and Aila cause they haven't been fought by the main characters yet, and Tatsuya would serve as the final opponent for their rematch with him. Fellini's probably gonna bite the dust next round seeing as he's already had his 1v1 with Sei and Reiji.
