Hmm. Considering this is the internet they are being fairly strict, though I understand what they're trying to do. At the same time I really wish they wouldn't take this out on the site as a whole and punish the admin for their members' behavior. We can't control what other members do, just enforce rules upon them. So as much as they want a completely clean website, it's highly unrealistic to expect one to be entirely perfect. Things are bound to happen since some people will slip up every now and then, and some well.. refuse to comply to any rule and just do it to be a pain in the pomegranate. I'm truly sorry this happened, but I hope that perhaps with some reasoning.. maybe they'll listen and pull back on their decision.

They can't be reasoned with, generally. They're re-instated us again after the thread was deleted, but it's yet another strike against us and I have no idea where their script draws the line.

Back when fiel owned the website, 'funhouse' was full of borderline full nudity. Last year this happened which is why it got a lot more tight and members have been questioning it. "WHY IS THIS BANNED ITS SO INNOCENT", before we didn't have that problem

Really, though. This is getting ridiculous. The stuff that gives us these strikes are things we don't even remember exist because it's been so long ago.

This is why some users (see: a certain user who questions the rule time and time again) need to understand that this is why we delete posts that are deemed "obscene." They may not be obscene to you or me, but they are to Google. It's not even limited to images.

I'm pretty sure they just have bots running that look for random keywords, but this still makes me question why some sites with AdSense get away with way worse stuff and lets not even talk about the ads in AdSense itself sometimes.

Two actual google employees, or one employee twice, looked at it just before we got the notice.

I honestly begin to suspect we have someone hunting for things to report us for, at this point.

In fact, interesting coincidence, but the only users who've looked at that thread recently are a certain parasite on 2014-02-01 12:13:33, and bacon-boy on 2014-01-02 04:12:59.

Googlebot on the other hand has been crawling the page daily for months, but an actual google employee came and looked at it on 2014-02-03 05:12:03.
