Was hoping for December so I could actually enjoy it. Yay, school.

Monster Park sucks anyway.

Opinions differ. Most everyone I've talked too(cept for the people here) say it's a million and one times better and more fun the lhc.

Why i have the feeling that they didn't remove the party zones bonus, just because if they do that the monsterbook needs to be changed? and say welcome back to leeching, i for once think that nexon is doing the wrong move when everyone says it is pretty cool....., I still want no limitations on pq this is the only thing i want.

Why are all of you happy for party play staying..that's a stupid idea and it ruins the point of even putting monster park in.

It is quite stupid to leave it in..Never really liked lion king castle or anything like that, Monster park seems more interesting in that it has a boss(?) at the end actually and more movement than cycling a single map for umm...lets see 30 or more levels possibly 90 levels at one map.

Eh more options isn't really a bad thing I suppose though.

More fun? Sure, at first. It's more diverse, if anything. You're in there for like 5 minutes at the most at a time and you need to grind to get tickets (or be rich and buy assloads of them to last for a small amount of time) and unless you're in a really good party, the experience is going to suck. It takes a lot (I can't stress that enough) of ticket collecting or a lot of money to use Monster Park for a good amount of time. Party quests are so much better. The party quest revamp with party play zones is a much better package deal than party quests plus Monster Park.

I feel like this was written by a completely different company.


If it's really by the end of the month then I guess we'll be getting the Legend update in December.

collecting tickets and finding a high lvl bishop thats 150+(that isnt a mule) is gonna be hard for monster park

as i said in the IRC, i just hope this doesn't end like the "joke of the month" thread. sounds legit though, if you ignore nexon's usual "hey guys, we fucked up somehow!"

It does have bosses. High drop rate of equips, all the equips are pot. If IIRC it also drops personality boosting items.

Yea, Monster Park is pretty good for like levels 1-130 or 140. After that, it's just really bad. You need to collect insane amount of tickets because you'll be finishing one whole round in 5 minutes.

I think it's pretty cool they're keeping it, but KMS removed the EF party zone for a reason: Insane amount of people leeching & old party exp ratio is back.

You buy them from the same NPC you trade the ticket pieces in for a full ticket, not people. The ticket piece drop rate isn't exactly like an etc. item. It's not rare, but it's not exactly common.

Event1 : Stay logged in for 3 hours and get a free 3-day flying mount!

EVENT2: Stay logged in for 1 hour per day and become super cool with this 9 day NX set! Also comes with free maple admin blessing buff that lasts 10minutes!

EVENT3: Get annoying etc. drops and then open them with a 2.3k NX Supa Gachapon key! We've even included the rare and cool level 130 item recipes for you to use!

And then the inevitable: INB4 exploit that renders 3/4 of the population completely open for account rape and a mass dupe exploit allows hackers to get ahead of hackers!

Don't forget the NX event! And the Buy some NX today!

If they do all 3 revamps at once, I'll be ok with that. It'll give me something to do while I wait for a pirate and thief revamp...

Lately the discussion has centered on the Ascension title floating around the MapleStory website and forums, with many of you guessing that the Ascension update will bring the content that was released in Korean MapleStorys Jump! Youre right, but theres a lot more to the story of Ascension including why its not quite Jump!

Does anyone remember a time when Nexon was unwilling to discuss future content and content in other versions of MapleStory? A good example would be when that one GM said "I took a Showa this morning" when asked about Showa Town being released. I don't follow the game much these days, but it's really suprising to me to see how much Nexon's policy has changed.

We still plan to deliver Ascension to you before the end of the month...

All I care about is LHC and Ereve keeping their "Party Play Zone" effects. Monster Park can eat it.
Also I called that all 3 patches were gonna be at one giant patch, but I'm really surprised it's coming out THIS month. I was easily expecting October+

The "Old" EXP ratio and Anti-bot bullshit both hurt LHC / Ereve / Monster Park. Although this is assuming we're even getting the "Anti-Bot" thing in the first place.
