The Blair Witch Project is pretty good, imo. As long you watch it on a TV.

The idea of making it like a vlog, makes it more realistic, kinda.

Any home video with myself in it is quite scary if I do say so myself.....

I watched Feast again last night. I looooove that movie. Plus Dawn of the Dead and the rest in that series of movies.

28 days is good as well.

Only "horror" movie I've ever seen is The Shining, it's not that great.

The thing now a days is that the old "horror" films were the best. Since they didn't have all hi-tech editing skills, they relied on imagination and appealing to the senses. Modern horror films might be scary, but in the end, are forgotten.

When I was little like 10 or so I saw the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I freaked out for like a year after I saw it. I was horrified.

Well I pissed me pants when I saw The Grudge at 12 years old so yeah.

The Grudge got me scared of going to the uni toilets... because most of the time no one is in there. I ran out once because I heard something that sounded like croaking...... The Japanese originals were the best, the American versions just can't grasp the same feeling despite they had the original director plus the fact it was shot in Japan. Some how they just don't feel the same.

Who can forget the Ring? That got some people too scared to go near their TVs?

I'm pretty jaded when it comes to horror films because I've watched far too many. The typical slasher kind of horror is much more comedic to me than scary... I greatly prefer horror films with a creepy storyline/shocking twist/surprise moments, etc. "Shutter" has always kinda stuck with me as one of my favorites of all time. I really love the story, and there's something about cameras that freak me out. I'm talking about the original 2004 Thailand version. I don't even consider the crappy 2008 American remake.

Yeah... most recent Horror movies aren't really Horror. Things like Hostel and Saw aren't horror, they're just gory for the sake of being gory. They try to gross you out, not scare you. Most others just go for the "startle" type fo scares, not actual frightening scares.

Anyway, while this may be a bit biased because I saw these at a much more impressionable age, I have to mention that nothing recent is even in the same leagues as...

Movie title: Pet Cemetery

When their youngest son meets with a fatal accident, the distraught Louis buries him in the same location hoping to revive him.

Movie title: Poltergeist

Description: A suburban family living in a small town in California who's home is abruptly invaded by supernatural forces who are anything but friendly, and proceed to terrorize the entire clan. This is a movie that plays like a roller-coaster ride, and once it gets going it never stops.

Movie title: The Birds (or almost any Hitchcock movie, really)

Description: A wealthy San Francisco playgirl pursues a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people there in increasing numbers and with increasing viciousness.

Also, this last one isn't that scary but it scared the crap out of me because I saw it when I was 7 AND I had a My Buddy. The evil in this movie was Chucky. I then threw it out and my mom found it and thought "This toy is still perfectly good" and put it back on my bed. Freaked me the pineapple out when I got back to my room and it was waiting for me.

Description: Kid gets a ~2 foot high doll as a gift, except it's possessed by the soul of a serial killer that was recently put to death.
