My dad got me with the argument "HEY IF YOU'RE GONNA MAJOR IN CS EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE USING WINDOWS 8 IN 2 YEARS EVEN THOUGH IT'S TERRIBLE JUST BECAUSE IT'S NEW SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL LEARN IT."
I was completely nonplussed as to what to say to that. Hopefully by then the HP Envys will have good graphics cards (oh yeah, did I mention I have to get an HP or a Dell? Student discount...well, I don't really have anything against HP, I mean, this 5 year old is still running pretty fine, but I know a lot of people do...).
Did I mention the computer I'm on is a Vista?
Edit: By the way does anyone reallllllllllllly want to become a Jr. Master? I mean I could really care less since I know all of you folks. I already promoted y'all to the second lowest rank. You can invite other people to the guild if you'd like.
I had a Dell Laptop that I used for over 4 years, and the only reason I got rid of it was because I wanted a laptop with a touch + swivel screen. Neither company is BAD, they just add way too much bloatware to their new PCs. There's simple solutions for those problems though.
Plus, from what I've been reading over at zdnet.com, there's downgrade options for free, but you have to contact Microsoft directly or some crap like that. If you really want to deal with W8 though...have fun with that. My company still uses XP so that "everyone is going to use W8 in 2 years" crap is just that, total crap.

Jump quests suck. I hate them in MS, and they're no exception here. Actually, they're even worse here because half the time a misjump is death, which kinda screws the whole "Make 100,000 EXP without dying" achievement for me.
Honestly, they're the worst part of the game.
