The good news is when this version tanks and sells like pomegranate (because square just pissed all over the previous fans, and good luck getting casuals to buy this.) Square Enix will blame the franchise and not the moronic decision making they're taking part in.

Edit: Hey, also, the game is an identical file size on the iPhone/Pad, so they're charging you twice for identical games instead of the *all device intergration* thing a lot of apple devices have going on.
