Not what I meant at all. I am not implying that it's wrong to complain about the game being too easy, or too hard for that matter. I am simply stating that I think if anyone did complain, it would mostly be the hackers obtaining them, in order to inflate their price and try to monopolize them once the ability to obtain them without cheating is gone. If you remember that 'glitch' where you can get 50% scrolls just from creating an aran... nothing was done about that glitch... and NO ONE complained about it. Why would people complain about GMs when they were merely a small step above 50%s in effectiveness?
I also doubt there was much complaining anyway since Nexon has always had a tendency to ignore tickets and forum posts until sometimes months later. I didn't notice much of a backlash except maybe by the ignorant on basil.
Regardless of what "complaints" exactly happened, it didn't fix the problem whatever it was since GMs went on to be duped to death. Even making them untradeable didn't solve the problem either. So tell me who wins in this scenario? It isn't Nexon, and it isn't legit players.
edit: another valid reason why nexon probably decided to remove GMs is that keeping them recurringly obtainable would probably kill their white scroll/pam thong sales.
