FlashJump for Slingers

I have a question about Float ever since I watched this vid. Watch at 2:14, her Wings lasts 15 seconds. The skill should really last 5 seconds. I've been testing this a lot in El Nath and Orbis. I re-press Wings during midflight and SOMETIMES it lasts longer than the 5 seconds it should(It keeps me floating until the other end of the map). Sometimes it doesn't. Could someone help me with this? Is it the re-pressing of Wings that makes it last longer than 5 seconds or am I missing something?
