Maplestory Myths - know any?

One of my old favorite scrolling myths was way back in the day if you went to Florina Beach and dropped mesos on the "sacrificial little platforms" in the first map and stood in the center your 10% scrolls would work. I mean why wouldn't the programmers work this into the code right? I probably created a few myths by simply answering any question to where a drop may be obtained that was GACH only back in the day, to go kill Mateons in Omega Sector. I at one time or another told people they dropped everything from VIP WEAPONS to 10% shoe att scrolls.

I was looking all over the place for this screenshot when this thread was active and just now found it. Some people may remember this guy; it caused quite the stir when he posted it. I think he admitted it was fake later. Screenshot date is Monday, ‎December ‎22, ‎2008.
