The chances of Nexon allowing you to do this is non-existent. You'll kill a copy, a clone, someone dressed up like the black mage, a wannabe, etc.. But they won't let you kill him.
That's just cheating
I wish they stopped using that shadowy figure and gave the Black Mage an actual look.
