The stats were altered so the originals still have 'value' in that sense since they are still unique. I just really hate untradeable stuff. My whole inventory is just full of the crap. Oh well at least stuff like the frozen tuna isnt thank god.
Edit - Although I am being a bit negative with my comments I am enjoying the event overall, nice simple fun event. The game needs more of them really, like it used to.
