Polantaris Wrote:Jump quests in bosses is an awful idea, because not everyone is good at those. So anyone who is bad at Jump Quests is screwed on the boss and can't fight it? That's stupid. It usually takes me an hour or two to do the Zakum JQ, imagine that being part of Zakum himself. The boss would be dead of boredom/my allies long before I got close.
I agree with the multi-stage things though. I did Horntail for the first time a week or so ago, and I found the multiple stages he had were interesting. Too bad after that the fight is as boring as Zakum. Not exactly sure how Nexon thought a boss that stood there for hours, casting random auto-hit spells would ever be entertaining.
The Zakum jump quest isn't massively difficult, it's just long. If you're patient and time things properly it really isn't very hard. I was thinking more along the lines of the Ninja Castle jump quest (has save points pretty much), but I don't know how it'd work. I can sense frustrating things like a boss pushing you off a platform which wouldn't go down well at all. Maybe it wouldn't work as well as I thought. :/
