For example, I collect figurines. If I collect all of these certain ones to complete a set, I'll be really happy and consider it a personal achievement. However someone could say it's a waste of time and money. If they keep constantly saying that to me, then they're belittling what I'm doing and trying to get me to stop. They have no right to do so just like I have no right to tell them to change their personal hobbies either that I may find a waste of time.

legitimacy matters because they want to say they did it. IT SHOULDNT MATTER IF ITS PERSONAL. Does anyone realize they are reinforcing my original statement x_x
