The difference between grinding the proper way and not, rather, the difference between making any form of progress in a game the proper way and not. The biggest problem is, sometimes the company is not transparent enough about their stance on issues...in some cases they actually condone what I still would consider improper methods of making progress, and I don't hold others to those standards, only myself (2x exp/drop/etc cards and other pay2win methods), but for everything else, like abusing glitches, and, obviously, abusing third party programs, I do. Don't get me wrong, if a person is open about hacking, I'm perfectly fine with them, it's the people that are not open about it or, even worse, actively claim legitimacy, that I have issues with. Some may not see this as a legitimacy issue in the first place, but I honestly can't see how, when some of these "bugs/glitches" yield more exp/hr than a vaccing botter gets, significantly more in a few cases.
The book is very good, but he really shines on his debates; most of them are on youtube and stuff, if you only check out one, watch the one he did against Tony Blair in December 2010. Then realize he was so sick at that point he actually died a little over a year later in December 2011, yet even on all the cancer treatment/drugs his mind was still that sharp. In one of his earliest debates he actually stated that he drank heavily before each one just to provide himself with some form of challenge, otherwise it was just boring and he always won. Not to say that he still didn't always win, even while blackout drunk. Because he did.
