The thing is though maplestory's business model is clearly about luck. Duplicating items esssentially takes away the risk of chance. The power that the players has right now was never supposed to be this, no matter how you look at it, you say cheaper alternative, but it's like this.
If you get a god tier item that is mass produced it doesn't just deflate itself it deflates everything inferior to it. That's great as a buyer, but what as a seller? You can't make money you only can spend it, that doesn't sound to healthy for a new player.
