More EE hacked weapons gone

I agree with you on some level, but this has been around too long and become too widespread to warrant a carpet-bomb-style perm ban on anyone who owns or has owned one. If this was nipped in the bud, well before everyone and their maple-grandma had one, then sure, hammer away.

On the other hand, I do wish Nexon enforced some kind of negative consequence that showcased their anti-hacker policy, since right now they seem like they just don't care. I believe that Nexon should be more willing to temp ban a month or even a week for these kinds of offenses. With temp bans, none of the time, effort, or money put into your character(s) is really lost and noone has to play appeal-ban lottery, clogging the already backlogged system. Another good thing about temp bans is that it won't make hacking a one-way road. Instead, it says, "You did wrong. Here's your punishment. You can come back and try to play things straight after it's over." The only issue I can think of with temp banning is cash item expiration, but Nexon has already shown they can extend these timers.

I agree with most of what you said, except the part about extending people's cs items if they get a 30-day ban. Nexon should give everyone who has a hacked weapon a month temp ban at the least, while permabanning the sellers. I know they are incompetent when it comes to banning people and most dupers have numerous accounts, but most of this thread is wishful thinking anyways...

If people are rightfully banned for owning hacked gear, they shouldn't get their cs items extended. It was their choice to break the ToS and the garbage excuse that they were ignorant of their crime doesn't work anymore. I'm sure that in almost every server people are smegaing hacked items and when you have weapons popping up whose stats are ridiculously higher than everything else and also are being sold for lots of money, that is probably a good indication that they shouldn't buy said gear. If they are really that ignorant, then they need to get out of la-la land really fast and come to terms with reality and the current state of this game.
