...And are you saying it has no effect on your gameplay at all, or be dependent on a pet? My point was lag makes it even more difficult to be independent on a social interaction game, so that "lag" isn't the greatest trade off, I'm sure it also wouldn'bt as intense as someone from the east coast attempting to play that server.

I only use a pet on one character, I've been playing gMS since it came out and I don't feel like I lag any more or less in kMS or gMS. It's a slight inconvenience but it isn't horrible, I spent the first 2 years or so of playing without a pet and however many months it was from May 2011 to the release of permanent pets. The worst thing about lag was getting into PQs, that's the only time I've felt properly disadvantaged compared to other people.
