Why the Secret Spell Scroll system would have never worked.

I think that would be EXTREMELY hard for them to do, especially with tools like WireShark that don't even directly act on MapleStory specifically. I did hear down the grapevine that spamming of packets results in an autoban now, which is something that would have been great to have years ago.

In most cases it does autoban now, but even with Wireshark, eliminating packet logging would eliminate a good chunk of exploits being found and abused.

I've never played WoW, but don't you get A/B for logging packets there?
