Pre-revamp buccaneer
Pros:
-A LOT to contribute to a boss run in the right hands due to auto-KB from barrage and aggro negation from barrel
-Good HP/MP
-Best mob/boss management in the game
-Completely self-sustainable (able to heal HP and MP)
-iframes provide an almost tactical play style during major bosses and a conservative one at lesser bosses
-Variety of attacks to make the most out of any number of mob count situations
-Great horizontal movement when given mobs
-Cheapest weapons/equipments, hands down.
-One of if not the best mob control classes with 3 completely different and useful mob movement skills
-Unique party support
-Few actual buffs, less time wasted when dispelled
-Longest range among all melee type adventurers (really advantageous during PB statues)
-Great approach options (one of the easiest classes to approach empress)
-Not completely screwed when in near death situations with pot cooldown
-Relatively good funding effectiveness due to many hits with little damage multipliers
-Difficult to purposefully trip damage reflect
-Great solo ability for bosses
-Books relatively cheap due to unpopularity
-Can use russellon's potions to bolster damage in no 1/1 bossing situations
Cons:
-VERY easy to kill once you're caught without iframes (seduce) and no healing options
-Slow attacks, slow DPS
-Slightly more difficult to train compared to other revamped classes
-Literally no movement options available without mobs
-Boss encounters that involve lots of death cripple us due to ST cooldown
-Average peak growth for skills occurs around mid 18x, very high compared to most other classes
-Energy touch gets in the way when moving mobs
-Very movable without energy at bosses
-Extremely high overkill when training with demolition
-Energy is available less than 20% of the time during bosses
-Difficult to compete with other buccs at bosses due to lack of benefit to having two of them
-"Need" a mount to get anywhere reasonably
-No passive defensive capability
-Poor "normal state" options during bosses

Post-revamp buccs
Pros:
-Great HP/MP
-Amazing mobbing ability
-One of the best funding effective classes
-Great horizontal movement when given mobs
-(Assuming somersault kick iframes are true) Tactical play style slightly preserved
-Unique party support
-Can use russellon's potions to bolster damage in no 1/1 bossing situations
-Mid to high tier DPS due to great PDR ignore and critical rage
-Free mount
-Great approach options with double spiral and SSK
-Willow defense allows much greater passive survivability
-Movement speed is on par with ranged classes with energy/dash
Cons:
-Peak growth is still relatively high compared to others, but lower than what it used to be
-Still very movable at bosses without energy, but the availability of energy is much better in any situation
-Slow movement without energy or dash
-Poor mob and boss management without auto-KB
-Not much benefit from more crit rate
-Low avoidability
-No self sustainability

Cannoneer
Pros:
-Best mobility, hands down. Demon slayers i consider as worse due to the use of key commands which have a higher risk of failure, and gliding extremely long distances is rarely needed besides travel, which isn't ever urgent
-Best summons, hands down. Post-revamp corsairs are the only class that compares because they give great bonuses to the character itself, but they are weak and unreliable.
-Anchor doubles as pretty much the best mob management skill in the game
-Amazing survivability
-Very difficult to move in any situation due to 80% stance and 35% counter which does not activate DR and does activate invincibility frames
-Great range
-Great support
-High damage range due to overload and passive attack bonuses
-Vastly underestimated bossing potential
-Amazing in dense mobs of any number
-Very fast with speed modifiers like SI
-Versatile
-Lower peak of growth (15x-160ish)
Cons:
-Low funding effectiveness due to slow attacks with low number of hits
-Mid to low tier DPS after revamp
-Slow without speed modifiers like SI
-Slightly inefficient due to overkill, offset by range and movement ability
