Situations haven't exactly been fine, of course, but at a stalemate where nothing can yet be resolved effectively. My point was that in case the bill fails, things should naturally revert back to the last known stable state, not escalate to either of the extremities: A/ regulated by ISPs and copyright holders or B/ regulated by the government.

It's like a kid asking for candies and get not only a refusal but also a detention.

To be honest I don't have much of an opinion on that one, I don't know anything that would be considered middle ground.
