US and UK plan to attack Iran

Ya know the whole "OIL IS EVERYTHING" reason is so overstated that it's pathetic. Do you know how much oil reserves we have, not even including the gross amount we get from canada/mexico? 50% of our oil is from either us/canada/mexico. 10% from venuzuala and they are more at our mercy much like China. If anything we want to dig into that mountain of gem's, which won't start until like 2016 or something.

Had to revive the thread cause I just learned something today:


10% of worlds oil is in Iran alone (compared to ~2% of US).

Now I'm not saying that I'm with the conspiracy theorists in this, but there's still some real argument in that whole oil thing.
