humans do immoral stuff all the time even though we're supposed to be a higher species. A very small amount of humans are cannibals, as are a small amount of spiders (using the example above).
You could argue the point that "immorality" is just the term humans came up with from the lessons learned through evolution, rather than saying being moral was created through religion.
