Since this study was actually pretty small in scope, i'm inclined to note that as a significant point of consideration. Nonetheless, as was pointed out earlier in the thread, it makes absolute sense for a majority population in an area to want someone in a position of power that reflects their views. There's nothing wrong with that. That's not even news, that's pure obviousness.
