China has something like 1-2 trillion in US dollars that would become worthless if the US was defeated.
Largest foreign reserves in the world.
They have nothing to gain by the US being defeated, their loans would never be repaid in that case.
Short of reparations levied on the US of course.
They'd probably be neutral or with the US, which is the best business move.
