Everything creates fanatics.
Fanaticism can latch onto any concept, whether it's food, a game, a scientific concept or, yes, a religion.

or even lack thereof, there are some atheists that ALSO go out of their way to tell everyone how they are right

i think if i ever received a bible, i would hiss, and crawl away, and ask my friends to measure reactions.
then again, doubt anyone nearby is actually doing it.
