Strongly disagree with that mentality.

For Clerics, especially Priests, HP isn't about your own survivability, it's also about how much you heal your party members. The more HP you have the more you heal yourself and your team.

I'm half-half. It's something I'll put extra points into if none of my other skills are appealing. To be honest, Clerics are probably the only class where I wouldn't consider getting little to no HP Bolster due to other skills, especially since this fellow is looking into getting lvl1 First Aid.

My friend's mentality is if you have stronger skills, you won't die as much. Though I guess you can't compare a Sorc to a Priest....
