it's not a prequel, dark souls is a spiritual successor to demon's souls, so you're not really missing anything by not having played demon's souls.

i've only been able to put like 30 hours in the game since i got it because of school and work, i'm at sen's fortress right now, i'm trying to pvp but they really need to patch multiplayer.. oh well. dex scimitar user, elite knight armor + havel's ring = ROLL CHAMPION. who even needs a shield. maybe i'll put the iaito in the other hand.
