Tuvalu and Tokelau declare state of emergencies due to lack of drinking water

I am very aware that the world goes through interglacials and periods of warming and cooling. I am also aware that the Earth is currently going through natural global warming processes, the issue is that the amount of CO2 that society is releasing is speeding up this process and may even be taking global temperatures to new heights. I'm not ignorantly assuming that the world is heating up directly because of human influence, but you cannot deny that we as a society are having a negative impact on the environment because of our carbon emissons.

I'm going to say that our role in all of this is grossly overstated by fundamentalists and hyperenvironmentalists.

However, I don't want to derail the thread. I believe all countries are going through severe weather and it's just impacting each of them differently. Definitely sucks to be an underdeveloped island nation though, geez bad luck there.
